My card base and mats are SU Crushed Curry and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye On The Sunny Side 6x6 pad.  The adorable fairy image is Fairy Sunny Day from Tiddly Inks.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with  my Copics.  I added a touch of Yellow Stickles to the star on her wand.  A single Wild Orchid Crafts Daisy finished my card.

The Digi Bells Blog Hop

Hi again!  I'm back as promised with my DT card for this month's Digi Bells Blog Hop!  You are in for a treat this month!  Elisabeth is releasing not one, but two, beautiful new images!

Please welcome "Corn Basket Beauty" and "Hay Day" to the Elisabeth Bell Digital Collection!  You may recognize these sweet images.  They were once licensed to Whiff of Joy and are now being brought back as digital images.  They are both just perfect for this time of year!  If you arrived at my blog from the talented Vicky's blog, you are in the right place.  If not, you'll want to start back at the Digi Bells blog and hop from there so you don't miss a thing!

Here is my card with Corn Basket Beauty:

My card base and mats are SU So Saffron and the patterned papers are from the Prima Sun Kiss 6x6 pad.  I've printed Corn Basket Beauty on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  A large sunflower, a triple-loop seam binding bow and a metal ear of corn charm finished my card.

Talk Like A Pirate Day

Good morning!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week and you've got fun plans for the weekend ahead!  This is the first of two special posts I'll have today.  I know what you are thinking.  It's either feast or famine on my blog these days!  I'll have to admit it's true, but this a fun one!  Did you know it "international talk like a pirate day"?  I didn't either, but now I do!  Little Miss Muffet Stamps is joining in the celebration of the day with a few new pirate releases and lots of inspiration from the Little Misses with the new and older pirate-themed stamps from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned papers are from a Halloween pack in my stash.  I have no idea which one.  The adorable pirate image is Swings 'n Slides Pirate by Pollycraft for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I colored him up with my Copics. The sentiment is from Create With TLC.  I cut out three pirate pennants with my Cameo using a file from the Silhouette store.  And that's it for my project!

Friday Coloring Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  I' back, albeit late, with my DT post for the Friday Coloring Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Normally, I would post tomorrow morning, but I've got a couple of special posts coming up tomorrow, so I am posting this tonight.  Our theme this week is "color inspiration".  You don't have to match the colors exactly, but we want to be able to recognize the color palette on your project.  You may use any coloring medium you'd like as long as you have a hand-colored image.

Here is the color inspiration, courtesy of Design Seeds:

Here is my card based on the colors:

My card base and mats are SU Pool Party and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Indie Chic "Nutmeg" 6x6 pad. The fun images are from the Best Friends digi set from Vera Lane Studios.  I merged the two girls together and colored them with my Copics.  The sentiment is from the same set.  I printed it out and cut it up before placing it.  A few opaque gems finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:
