Good morning!  Happy Saturday!  I hope that your weekend is off to a great start!  We've got kind of a busy weekend planned, so I hope the weather improves soon.  I am here this morning, as always on Saturdays, with my DT post for the Sketch Saturday Challenge.  This week we are sponsored again by A Day For Daisies, who are offering the winner a $12 GC for the ADFD shop.

Here is the fabulous sketch designed by Debra:

Here is my card:

My cards base and mats are SU Basic Black and the patterned paper is from the Basic Grey Blush 6x6 pad.  The beautiful image is Green Lady from A Day For Daisies.  I printed it on MiC Blending Card and colored it with my Copics.  I added some golden glitter to the gems hanging from her hair. Two beveled gems from my stash finished my simple card.

Alcohol Markers Challenge - The Outlawz

Hi there!  It's me again!  I'm back with a late night post for this week's Alcohol Markers Challenge at The Outlawz site.  Usually I post on Friday morning, but I've got a bunch of stuff going on tomorrow, so I'm posting tonight.  The theme this week is another "photo inspiration".  You can be inspired by any aspect of the photo - colors, scene, flowers, whatever, but you must have coloring with alcohol markers (any brand) on your project.

Here is the inspiration photo, by our own teammie, Dawn!  It's of Sausalito.  Isn't it gorgeous?

Here is my creation inspired by Dawn's pic:

My inspiration was the colors purples and cool blues as well as neutrals.  My card base and mats are GKD Turquoise Sea and the patterned papers are from the GCD Happiness 6x6 pad.  The whimsical image is Floating Floral Fairy from Make it Crafty.  I did something very different with the coloring.  I printed the image on some neutral patterned paper and then colored it with my Copics.  I did a little highlighting with my Prismacolor Pencils.  A bow, a few flowers from my stash and a mythical metal charm finished my card.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Copic Colors:
Purples: V000, V01, V05, V06, V09
Turquoise: BG000, BG10, BG53, BG57, BG49
Aqua Blue: B000, B01
Hair: E42, E44, E47

Prismacolor Pencils:
Black Grape, Mulberry, Aquamarine, Light Aqua

Thanks for stopping by again!  Be sure to visit the Alcohol Markers Challenge and check out the fabulous creations from my teammies, Dawn, Linda, Penny and Kathi.  We hope you will play along!  You know we have a fabulous sponsor this month!  Make it Crafty is offering one randomly-selected participant a $10 GC.  As a bonus, we will have a second draw for all participants who used a Make it Crafty image and the winner will receive a second GC!  If that's not incentive to play along with your favorite MiC image, I don't know what is!

I am entering my card in the following challenge:
Digi Galore (flowers)

I'll be back late morning tomorrow for the Digi Bells Monthly Blog Hop!  Hope to see you then!

Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Post

Good morning! Happy Thursday!  Hope your week is going well so far! We're one day closer to the weekend and the weather has been improving every day!  I've got a busy afternoon coming up, but before heading on to that, I am here with some DT inspiration for Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  We are changing things up a little, but posting our inspiration creations over on the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Group. If you love LMM Stamps, you should head over there and join up.  There is always lots of wonderful inspiration, fun chat and specials just for the Facebook Group.  We just hit 700 members there and right now, there's an adorable freebie just for the Facebook fans!  Don't miss out!

Here is my card:

My card base and mats are SU Bermuda Bay and the patterned papers are from the My Mind's Eye Collectable "Notable" 6x6 pad.  The adorable image is Jr. Hatter Lilith from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I stamped her on MiC Blending Card and colored her with my Copics.  I gave her a little face like Barbara showed us at the Texas Coloring Retreat.  I still need more practice, but it's a start.  I finished my card with a bling butterfly and some stitched ribbon.

Here is a close-up of the colored image:

Thanks for stopping by!  Be sure to visit the Little Miss Muffet Facebook Page and check out the fabulous projects from the rest of the Little Misses and our wonderful fans!  Don't forget about our "distressed" challenge.  You still have until Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:55 PM CDT to enter your project.
